I have done sports since age 5 I've seen how it helped me to grow in confidence, allowed me to see I can achieve anything I put my mind to, learn to love exercise now and lead a healthy lifestyle as an adult. I trained to be a primary school teacher, worked as a HLTA in a special needs school and most recently have worked alongside high school and colleges. I have been a qualified personal trainer for 6 years each year completing CPD courses to further my knowledge, being qualified in Boxercise, Metafit, Insanity and Pilates. My next CPD which I am currently in the process of completing is Exercise with Children. At the end of my course I will be required to film myself teaching a class of children to which this bootcamp will help me gain experience before doing so. I have a cleared CRB (DBS) check that can be shown to any parent when asked.
This bootcamp is aimed at all children whether they are part of a sports club or not, for all to be involved and achieve great things within each session no matter how fit or strong they are. Each month a trophy will be handed out to one child who has performed well this could be showing good team work, empathy, trying something new, motivating fellow members, being polite the list is endless.
Each week tips on how to keep active and healthy as a family will be given as well as a home fitness or food challenge. The only rule for each class is a parent must take part and accompany a child throughout the whole of the session, aunts, uncles, nannas and grandads are welcome too!
